                                                                                                                    Dear Readers,        Hyperthyroidism is a condition where your T3 and T4 level is higher than required. What is T3 and T4? T3 known as triiodothyronine and T4 as thyroxine. What make them different? The only different is the Iodine attached the main chain. T3 with 3 Iodine meanwhile T4 with 4 Iodine. Dear readers, Statins   @  HMG-CoA reductase known as lipid lowering drug. Commonly the pharmacist will counsel the patient to consume at night. This been a tradition for years, but are you sure all the statin should be consumed at night?  Although some cholesterol comes from dietary intake, a significant amount is produced endogenously.  It was previously hypothesized that human cholesterol production may be cyclical in nature mimicking the confirmed pattern of cholesterol synthesis in animals.  Human trials then confirmed the fluctuation in cholesterol synthesis, noting the greatest cholesterol production from the liver during fasting states.          The apparent circadian rhythm of cholesterol production sparked the recommendation that statins be dosed at bedtime to provide the greatest medication concentration when endogenous cholesterol production is the highest.         There are long acting statins and short acting statins. Dear readers    A week ago, my friend asked me “bro how you dispense topical drug?”. I answered him “macam biasa, sapu di tempat berkenaan (apply accordingly).” Then i realized am i dispensing correctly? Do i deliver important details to the patients? Why i did”t posses adequate  knowledge about the topical drugs? Where is the proper guidelines? Alot of pharmacist and doctors do have the same question. That inspired me to find proper methods.
